Tomorrow (24–48 Hours):
Continue cleansing gently with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water
Reapply your healing ointment or moisturizer frequently to prevent dryness
Swelling should begin improving, though redness will remain
Stay indoors when possible and avoid direct sun exposure
No makeup, exercise, hot showers, saunas, swimming, or active skincare products
Days 3–7:
Skin will begin to feel dry, bronzed, and rough before naturally peeling
Do not pick, rub, or peel flaking skin—allow it to shed on its own
Continue gentle cleansing, hydration, and frequent moisturizer application
Once approved by your provider, begin applying mineral SPF daily if going outdoors
No exfoliation, retinoids, acids, vitamin C, scrubs, or prolonged sun exposure
After 7–14 Days:
Most peeling is complete, though pinkness may remain for several weeks depending on treatment depth
You may gradually resume active skincare as directed by your provider
Continue wearing SPF 30+ every day and avoid excessive sun exposure
